The Story
My dad needed a website for his equipment business. Not a side project, not a tutorial — a real business with a real person depending on the output. So I built it. Product pages, mobile-responsive design, SEO, a full sales pipeline with Stripe checkout — the whole thing. The infrastructure is there. We just haven't pushed it hard yet.
This is where I learned that real users don't care about your stack. They care if the page loads. They care if they can find what they need. They care if it looks like someone gave a damn.
What It Taught Me
I got into AI-native building through Brick — but none of the other platforms were good enough. When I found Claude Code, everything clicked. This project became where I sharpened that workflow daily. Building for a real deadline, a real person, real constraints. I learned to think in prompts, iterate in conversation, and trust the tools to handle what they handle better than me.
Shipping matters more than perfection. Building for someone else is different than building for yourself. And the pressure of someone actually needing the thing you're making teaches you faster than any course.
Honest Take
The company isn't my vision. I don't fully align with the industry, and I'd be lying if I said the work was my calling. But the craft was real. A real person depended on the output. That accountability shaped how I work.
I learned to ship here. And shipping is what led me to everything else.
